Me&U Café is a creative cafe safe space run by adults with learning disabilities for adults with learning disabilities.

It is open 2 afternoons every week. It is based within an accessible buildings,  city centre location close to parking and public transport routes). The café provides:

​

*training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities who wish to either train as or experience being a barista, supported by our staff and experienced volunteers;

​

* a safe space for adults with learning disabilities to meet and socialise

​

* a rolling programme of activities (largely arts & crafts based but will be led by interests of attendees)

​

* a drop-in space for adults with learning disabilities who are interested in exploring volunteer options within the community, supported by our staff.

​

Offering a range of activities / options we will be able to encourage and enable independence and active lifestyles.

We will support and train minimum of two adults with learning disabilities pa to access level 2 barista qualification.

Booking esssential. We accept self-referrals / from carers/parents or professionals.
