LINK UP LETTERS
Everyone loves to receive personal letters! Could you support an isolated person by something as simple as writing them a letter? There are 100s of people in care homes and supported living accommodation across the Bradford District who have have little contact with the outside world. A friendly, cheerful letter from you could make a big difference to them. So, if you can spare a few minutes to put pen to paper once or twice a month, we would love to hear from you. If you have never written a letter before or you’re a bit out of practice, don’t let that put you off because we can provide some simple guidelines to get you started.
What are they looking for?
We are always looking to recruit more volunteers to write one or two cheerful and chatty letters every fortnight/month to a care home resident or isolated person. Letters can be hand-written (clearly) and posted or sent electronically via email (double spaced).
